Just a little under two weeks left. I've begun the whirlwind of activities that need to be concluded before I properly leave, including but not limited to selling my stuff, organizing my stuff, packing my stuff, and being poked by half a dozen needles carrying various vaccines.
The internet viral story that began as my simply applying for my passport renewal has finally concluded. I received my new passport today. It's much more thickly bound than my previous passport and even includes a picture of the moon landing. I guess just in case I ever use my passport there, I can verify that I am a citizen of the country that originally settled it, or something.
