Upon much deliberation, I decided that in lieu of a scarf or other souvenir, I would like for you to bring back this national park so that I can put it in my back yard. Discard those new shirts and make room in the backpack!
Unfortunately the Croatians are very strict about who can do what do Plitvice Lakes. Basically, no one can do anything. This includes fishing, swimming, throwing leaves into the waters, and sneezing within 50 meters of a waterfall. I'm assuming these rules also include taking them to the United States.
